HSE Success Stories

HSE Risk Management System

Identification of root cause/ main problem is the key to avert any incident. In terms of HSE, hazard/ aspect recognition is critical to avoid any damage. During visits & HSE Review, it had been found that hazard identification & their mitigation was not clear to few PSO staff which had lead to some minor incident.

HSE Team has developed HSE Risk Management System to cater high priority HSE Risks at PSO facilities. The system aims to provide a clear picture to Top Management about significant hazards and major risks present at PSO locations. Training on the said system has already been provided to employees for effective implementation. HSE Risk Registers & Risk Matrices of locations have been developed and communicated to concerned facilities for implementation.

Departmental HSE Risk Registers & Matrices have also been developed and sent to the concerned departmental heads; corporate risk register has been shared with the Top Management. Through implementation of this system, hazard identification, Risk Assessment & Risk Management has become very easy to PSO locations staff.

Production of HSE Videos

Positive behavior towards HSE is the basic building block of a “Generative HSE Culture”. Without this, a robust HSE Culture could not be achieved. In past, few events were reported in which behavioral issues were the root cause. These issues were mainly related to labor staff who are not literate.
