PSO ensures smooth and uninterrupted fuel supplies during Eid holidays
KARACHI - July 1, 2016: Pakistan’s foremost oil marketing company Pakistan State Oil Company Limited has stated that it will continue smooth and uninterrupted fuel supplies to ensure that consumers don’t face any hardships during the Eid holidays and beyond.

Foreseeing the hike in demand during the upcoming Eid holidays, PSO has received a petrol cargo of 52,000 MT on July 1, 2016, to be followed by another supply of 52,000 MT of petrol in the coming week. The company will also receive two cargoes of high-speed diesel (HSD) of 52,000 MT each, first one on July 2, 2016, with the second one to follow in the same week. These preemptive measures are a testament to PSO’s commitment to ensuring smooth fuel supplies nationwide no matter how high the demand gets. It is also worth mentioning here that in the month of June PSO had already imported 170,000 MT of diesel and 155,000 MT of petrol cargoes to cater the demand in the country.

PSO has always tried to maintain adequate reserves to ensure an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products across the nation to facilitate its customers despite challenges, and will continue to do so. There is no fear of a fuel shortage owing to the Eid holidays or current monsoon season.

Being the national flagship OMC, PSO has always been committed to ensuring a seamless fuel supply to its customers and none of its outlets is facing any kind of fuel shortage. Smooth and regular fuel supplies are being made to all PSO retail outlets across the country so no disruption is faced by the consumers in any part of the country.
