PSO's Ayesha Afzal receives Women Excellence Award 2007

The award was given during the International Conference on Women’s Leadership 2007 organized by Triple-E in Marriott Hotel, Karachi on June 17, 2007. The award recognizes her professional contributions to development of a state-of-the-art corporate planning framework at Pakistan State Oil that achieved several national and international benchmarks of recognition. <br /> <br /> Based on Corporate Planning performance of national and multinational companies operating in Pakistan, PSO has also received AIOU-Commonwealth of Learning’s (Vancouver, Canada) Strategic Leadership Award and Professional Excellence Award. Several business enterprises sought PSO’s permission to emulate its model. LUMS and IBA in Pakistan, University of Northeastern (USA), and University of Glasgow (UK) have undertaken the case study. In addition, PSO has been actively contributing and sharing its strategic framework and experience with others through World Economic Forum and World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Switzerland for broader strategic development.
