PSO-ORIX Renew Association, Sign Accord

Wednesday, November 23, 2005  :  Karachi: Strategic partners Pakistan State Oil Company Ltd. and ORIX Leasing Pakistan Ltd. renewed their association in an auspicious signing ceremony held at PSO House on Wednesday 23rd November,2005.

Mr. Jalees Siddiqui, Managing Director PSO, and MR. Humayun Murad, CEO ORIX Pakistan, inked the agreement in a ceremony attended by senior officials of the two organizations.

Jalees Siddiqui reiterated PSO’s commitment towards continuous innovation. He said: “We are committed to enriching customer experience by providing unparalleled service through competitive advantage, in collaboration with our strategic partner, ORIX. The company is looking at exploring new avenues of business that will hold a promising future for both the parties/strategic partners”

Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Murad, C.E.O ORIX Pakistan, also reiterated his commitment to providing technological support to PSO, which would support PSO’s vision.

The collaboration, which resulted in a ‘series of firsts’ in plastic cards technology in the energy sector, started with the launch of PSO’s first loyalty card almost three years ago in July 2002. This was soon followed by PSO Fleet and Corporate cards in January 2003. With the successful launch of these cards, the company introduced prepaid cards in affordable denominations in September 2003.

With the renewed commitment PSO, in collaboration with ORIX, would excel in delivering value to customers.
