Description

PSO Sugar Mill Oil Plus series are the blends of high quality paraffinic virgin base oil and superior quality asphalt. These oils are fortified with extreme pressure additives to meet the application requirements of heavily loaded Mill House Bearings. PSO Sugar Mill Oil Plus provides excellent load carrying properties under boundary lubrication and available in three viscosity grades to meet the specific application requirements.
 

Applications

  • PSO Sugar Mill Oil Plus are specially designed for lubrication of MILL HOUSE BEARINGS of Sugar Mill Industries where total loss lubrication system is deployed and requiring viscous lubricants with high load carrying properties.
  • Applicable to Open Gears requiring oil having sticky consistency so that the oil is not thrown off by centrifugal force as the gear moves.

BEARING COMPOUND Series
 

Description

PSO Bearing Compounds are designed to provide improved performance to Mill House Bearings by forming non-rupturing oil film under heavily loaded condition at very low Revolutions per minute (RPM). Extreme Pressure characteristics of PSO Bearing Compounds chemically reacted with mental surface to form protective layer which adhere strongly with metal surfaces under boundary lubrication condition
 

Applications

  • These special grades are developed for MILL HOUSE PINION BEARINGS with added property of adherence where total loss system of lubricants is employed. These grades offer extra protection to Mill House Bearing because of their strong film forming properties.

GEAR & WIRE ROPE COMPOUND SERIES
 

Description

These are Asphaltic viscous lubricants having good adhesion to the metal surfaces. These non-corrosive lubricants form a thick tenacious protective coating on metal surfaces. These lubricants are available in six-viscosity grades to suit specific applications. The asphaltic component in the lubricants provides extreme pressure characteristics under load conditions. PSO Gear & Wire Rope Compound R-96 is fortified with high quality extreme pressure sulphur-phosphorous additives.
 

Applications

  • PSO Gear & Wire Rope Compound is a range of adhesive type low-cost lubricants for open gear & wire rope telphers and conveyors on colliery and quarry etc. These are recommended for comparatively rough gearing running at modest speed in locations where they are exposed to lather, sea spray etc.
