PSO success result of teamwork: Jalees

KARACHI: Mr. Jalees Siddiqi, Managing Director & CEO, Pakistan State Oil, has said that the credit for company’s exceptional performance goes to the cohesive and dedicated PSO family, whose every member has been a team player in implementing the management policies.

He was speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of PSO Workmen Union (CBA) and ‘Long Service Award’ for non-management staff on Wednesday, August 23, 2006.

CBA President Rasheal Alam and General Secretary Shafiquddin Moini, in their speeches, thanked the Managing Director and expressed the resolved on behalf of their members to work even harder to meet the challenges ahead in the highly competitive energy sector.

The managing director was presented two shields for his leadership in successful conclusion of the CBA-Management Agreement 2005-7 and the record FY06 profits after tax of Rs.7.5 billion.

Mr. Jalees Siddiqi distributed the ‘Long Service Awards’ to a select number of employees.

The ceremony, held at the PSO Keamari Terminal ‘C’, was attended by a large number of top management and non-management employees.
